Addi and Juhana crewed up in Finland and went on a roadtrip to Narvik in the northern parts of Norway. There they met up with Torgeir. Together they went to the Lofoten islands to check out the amazing scenery and to try out the surf. The weather was not on their side. Mostly cloudy and basicly no waves. But they jumped into the 3 degrees celsius waters and enjoyed it. The next day they built a cornerkicker in the Narvik backcountry. Torgeir at least was eager to go really high on the kicker, mostly because it was fun, but also because he wanted to tell the world that even though he's turning 30 years old, his body and soul is not that old.
The following day after the kickerbuilding they sessioned the kicker with a fine crew of snowboarders from Narvik, had a barbeque in the backcountry and checked out the famous easter eveningparties in the industrial town commonly named the Jamaica of the North!

We are currently working on a complete new website for TrailerPark studios. This one works okay but it´s very basic and lacks design and stuff. With the new one we´re going to have all our videos in HD(720p) streaming online, so watching them should be easier than it is now. The new site is not quite ready yet but it hopefully will be in a few weeks or so. Many thanks to our friend Halldór, for doing this for us, he is a talented websitemaker.

While Petur enjoys Argentinian summer its time for Arnþór to enjoy the snow, time out in the school and heading to Scandinavia for eastern. Flying to Stockholm and then Luleå in northern Sweden, Juhana is going to pick him up and they're going to drive to Ylläs in Finland. After that the next stop is Narvik in Norway, Torgeir's hometown. There the team is going to snowmobile, build backcountry kickers, fish, sail, and chill-lax. I guess we will check out Riksgränsen in Sweden as well. But more details of the trip after eastern so stay tuned. Loads of pictures and hopefully a short film.

Also Getting There will be a part of an winter art show in Ísafjörður, Iceland during eastern. Rumor has it that "Der weisse Rausch" will also be at the show. A movie from 1930!

I have finally returned from the highlands of South America, Haukur, me and Chris traveled around Patagonia for 2 months. We did a lot of interresting activity and of course we filmed it all. We are currently working on a teaser and a trailer and hopefully the whole film will be ready in summer 09.

Today I will leave Iceland and head to South America, I will fly to Germany, over to Spain and then finally to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I won´t travel with my computer so blog and videos from me are on hold for a while, but when I return from the highlands stories are going to be told.

Addi, Torgeir and Juhana are teaming up for a week in late january, they´re in for some Austrian powder. Now lets hope for some nice pow shots from this "Getting There reunion."

Peter and his good friend Armann decided to try out their camping equipment from G.A.P for the winterworld of the Himalayas. They went to Nesjavellir to camp and it was freezing cold and strong wind. Download the clip HERE. The video is in icelandic.
